SANTIAGO LLEÓ 

Santiago has been advising international and Spanish companies and individuals for more than twenty years in the fields of real estate, urban planning and commercial law, both in the Canary Islands and in Madrid.

After working at the European Commission in Brussels, he has developed his practice in the London offices of J. D. Silver & Co, in Acedo Rico y Losada in Madrid, and in Izquierdo, de la Cueva y Lleó in the Canary Islands.

Among the companies and entities that he advises are entities collaborating in the conservation of important tourist developments in the Canary Islands, hotel groups and real estate investment and development companies. He has also advised foreign companies on the incorporation of subsidiaries and branches in Spain, and on ordinary business matters, as well as acting as Secretary of the Board of Directors. Finally, he has extensive experience in the field of foundation law and philanthropic private equity.

President and founder of the Xaley Foundation, he currently combines his professional career as a lawyer with advising several development NGOs.

He speaks Spanish, English, French and Italian.

CÉSAR AYALA

César represents the interests of national and foreign clients in civil and commercial matters, conducting and channelling their investments in Spain.

Furthermore, he is a specialist in insolvency law and company restructuring and gathers years of experience in the procedural defence of international companies before Spanish courts.

He has also been appointed as an expert in Spanish law and has been called upon by British Courts.

César holds a Ph.D. Cum Laude in Law and lectures commercial law at well-known business schools in Madrid.
